It’s a ski resort in French Alps in France with some very good restaurants.

A friendly welcome and great service await you at CHALET CABOCHE. The food was good but not extraordinary. You’ll appreciate the hospitality, if not the culinary experience.

I was taken aback by the staff’s rudeness at Restaurant Le Chamois, which marred the dining experience. But, if you can overlook that, the food itself was decent and well-prepared. You’ll have a mixed bag of feelings dining here.

If you’re craving fondue, L’Alpage is the place to be. But beware, the service can be hit or miss. Your culinary desires will be met, but you might feel rushed.

If you’re skiing in Megève, a visit to Alpage de Pré Rosset is a must. While the food was hearty, it did feel a bit monotonous after a while. You’ll enjoy the homey feel but yearn for a little more variety.
