I’m choosing to present you the most popular sports in France ranked by number of “licenciés” (registered member or licensee in English) in each sport’s federation.
Note the difference between a licensee and a practitioner :
- A licensee is officially registered with a sports federation. Ex : play soccer in official club.
- A practitioner simply practices his or her sport independently of a sports federation. Ex : play soccer with your friends.
